For contractors

An Insulation Partner for Roofing, Restoration & General Contractors

When roofing or restoration is already underway, AIC can handle the interior insulation scope as part of the larger project, so the owner doesn’t have to find a separate contractor.

What partners get

One accountable insulation partner inside the building

  • The interior insulation scope handled while your crews work above or around it
  • Sequencing, access and responsibility for each work area agreed before work begins
  • Removal, protection, material handling and replacement as one scope
  • A specialty subcontractor to you, or a direct contract with the owner when that suits the project
  • Travel for suitable commercial and industrial projects

Questions

Contractor questions

Can you work while a commercial roofer is replacing or restoring the roof?

Yes, provided the project is properly coordinated. Interior insulation work and roofing activity often affect one another, so sequencing, access and responsibility for each work area should be established before work begins.

Do you work directly for building owners?

Yes. AIC can contract with building owners and facility operators and can also work as a specialty subcontractor for commercial roofing contractors, general contractors, restoration companies and other construction partners.

Can you replace old insulation under an existing metal roof?

In many buildings, yes. The exact solution depends on the roof structure, existing insulation, access, condition of the building and the project objectives. AIC evaluates retrofit options rather than assuming the roof or building must be emptied to do the work.
